"You know this funny thing we do sometimes: What age do you feel? From a young age, and still today, it’s very specific: 77. When I look in the mirror, I’m waiting for that guy to show up. My father died at 77. I had already chosen 77."

    So he is saying he has chosen 77 as the age to die at? OK, but not everyone would make that choice. He might even change his mind before or when he gets there.
