'Missiles, one after another' — 9 injured, outages reported in Kyiv amid mass Russian attack on energy infrastructure. "From the explosions that just occurred — a ballistic missile attack is ongoing. Missiles one after another, air defense is active," Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said.



Russian strikes reportedly destroy over half of Ukraine's gas output before winter. Ukraine's gas network, which met the country's needs before the full-scale war, has been repeatedly hit by missiles and drones, endangering millions of households that depend on gas for heating in winter.


Drones attack Russia's Rostov Oblast, allegedly targeting an oil depot, media reports. Rostov Governor Yury Slyusar said three drones were shot down in the Matveyev-Kurgan district by air defense systems.


Tomahawk deliveries could force Russia to 'sober up' and negotiate, Zelensky says. "Right now, it is important to send a signal that Ukraine will be strengthened by all means possible," President Volodymyr Zelensky said. 




Europe faces 'significant risk' of major war if Russia starts mobilization, Zelensky says. "There is a significant risk that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin will actually go to a world war," President Volodymyr Zelensky said.


Blackouts in Russia fair response if Moscow targets Ukraine's grid, Zelensky says. Zelensky also highlighted that Ukraine's drone strikes on Russian oil refineries have created a gasoline deficit approaching 20%, contributing to shortages in parts of Russia and Russian-held areas.


Ukraine's parliament backs creation of cyber forces in first reading. The bill aims to establish the Cyber Forces as a military command body responsible for Ukraine's defense and security capabilities in cyberspace.



Serbia sends humanitarian aid to Russia's Kursk Oblast worth around $6 million, Moscow claims. While Moscow framed the assistance as "centuries-old brotherhood" and praised "the close ties between our countries and peoples," the move underscores Serbia's ongoing balancing act between its EU aspirations and longstanding ties with Russia.
